Jay’s career in video production began nearly two decades ago in Calgary, Canada.
After a fruitful internship with a local production company - and a dip in the Bow River - he left to expand his skillset on commercial productions in Toronto. Little did he know he was destined to return to the Calgary Video Production community!
While out east, Jay would produce a show for Rogers TV in London, Ontario featuring positive public figures in the community. When that wrapped he took those newfound interview skills to South America, documenting his experience with those he met on the road through Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru.
His return to Calgary should have been a restful retreat from filming. That was quickly forgotten when creator culture exploded. A whole community of tech-savvy local brands were willing to get on camera - but they needed help keeping up with the demand and pace of content creation.
Now, Jay works with entrepreneurs, coaches, thought leaders, and other innovators to create comprehensive digital libraries for visual communicators.
His ultimate creative goal? To work on a video project in every Canadian province!
